The career of Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz has been all about transformation.
His rise to international stardom from a nearly unrecognizable member of Ludacris' Disturbing Tha Peace ensemble has been nothing short of miraculous. Once known as "Tity Boi," he used a name change along with timely marketing and catchy lyrics (Front if you want, 2 Chainz has a way of coming up with memorable lines even if they don't always rhyme) to become a Grammy-winning artist.

But before he picked up the mic full time, the 39-year-old 2 Chainz, born Tauheed Epps, put the basketball down. Once a star at North Clayton High School (Ga.), he briefly played at Division I Alabama State. His hoops career has been thoroughly chronicled by the likes of ESPN and SB Nation.
Monday night, the 6-5 2 Chainz showed his jumper is still wet, schooling Kevin Garnett on his NBA on TNT segment, "Area 21," as former NBA stars Rasheed Wallace and Ben Wallace looked on in awe.

If you want to see where it all began for 2 Chainz, check out this footage from his high school days way back in 1995. Coincidentally, he's No. 21. You can catch him draining a 3-pointer in transition, then throwing down a nice two-hand jam on the break that failed to beat the buzzer as he finished with 14 points against rival Banneker High. Also, peep the showmanship as he hits the Bankhead Bounce in celebration.
