The New York Knicks' season ended on Sunday afternoon with a Game 7 loss to the Indiana Pacers, leading to a plethora of roasts on social media.

Among those mocking the Knicks is retired NBA All-Star Paul Pierce, who stomped on Jalen Brunson's jersey while trolling fans. The Hall-of-Famer's hatred for the team has grown since he left the league, but he faced them multiple times in the postseason (2011 and 2013).

The Knicks dealt with numerous injuries throughout the series, including to Brunson, who sustained a fractured hand late in the third quarter. Julius Randle, OG Anunoby and Mitchell Robinson were among those absent due to injuries.

Pierce followed up the video by taking another jab at New York fans, but also attempted to clear the air a bit.

"Yall Knick fans are delusional stfu and get over it ya season is over deal wit it," Pierce posted. "Good yr tho."

Many were upset that Brunson was involved, especially given he fractured his hand, so Pierce stated: "This wasn’t about Brunson this was about The Knicks so send me another Knicks player jersey and I’ll do it again [laughing emoji]."
