Bryce James entertains question of playing with his father, LeBron image

A single day after the Los Angeles Lakers drafted son of superstar LeBron James, Bronny, fans are already moving onto the next question at hand.

The former USC guard made history when he was selected on Thursday as the first player in league history to be drafted when his father is an active player. Now, the media is entertaining the possibility of James’ second son, Bryce, entering the NBA while his father is still active well into his 40’s.

Bryce responded to the question on an Instagram livestream, saying, “That’s OD, nah, that’s too much. He’s gonna be 42, bro.”

There’s no telling when James will decide to retire, but extending his career until the 2026 NBA Draft (when Bryce is eligible) is not entirely out of the equation. At 39 years old, the Lakers forward is showing no signs of slowing down as he looks to earn championship No. 5 with LA or another organization.
