The Boston Celtics didn't have much time in the spotlight before another team swooped in, stealing the attention.
Breaking news was released from the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday afternoon that the organization is signing former NBA analyst JJ Redick as their new coach. Despite having no prior experience in the business, the Lakers' front office believes in the retired sharpshooter enough to agree to a four-year deal.

The Celtics steamrolled through the NBA playoffs, losing just three games on the road to championship banner No. 18. They defeated Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks in five games in the Finals. As one of the most hated teams in sports, fans likely have no issue with the Lakers stealing the attention.
The Celtics are hoping to become back-to-back champions, but the newfound Big Three of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Redick could pose strong competition out West.
