Bronny James is one of the most anticipated NBA Draft prospects, even receiving high praise from an established star in the league.
Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George is no stranger to evaluating talent around him, most recently discussing pro comparisons for James. He believes the ex-USC guard resembles "glue guys" such as Jrue Holiday and Derrick White.
"What's most impressive is just his basketball savviness, like his basketball IQ. He can do it all. I feel like he hasn't shown that he can really be elite at a lot of things, but I think he can be elite at a lot of things," George said on his podcast. "I compare him to like the Jrue Holiday, the Derrick Whites, guys that are glue guys that can go do everything on the floor and help you win... He doesn't need to be a star."
Holiday and White are two of the best backcourt defenders in the game, with a combined eight All-Defensive Team selections. If James is able to meet those comparisons, his career will be viewed as nothing short of commendable. Dealing with the pressure of being LeBron James' son is a unique burden that no one else understands.
Despite a mediocre statistical season with the Trojans, James has all the physical tools and drive to meet the comparisons George believes to be true.
