Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson unfollowed the team and deleted the majority of posts associated with the organization, sparking a commotion across social media.
The decision saddened Warriors fans, as Thompson is one of the most beloved players in franchise history. He's won four championships alongside long-time teammates Stephen Curry and Draymond Green. It didn't take long for Green, who's taken a recent interest in the analyst and podcasting worlds, to chime in on the situation.
"I know all of you are probably looking forward to me talking about Klay unfollowing the Warriors, deleting some IG posts, or something. I had no idea that happened, and I think it's [expletive] hilarious," Green said on the latest episode of his podcast. "I think that's comical. I know you all want somebody's feelings to be hurt or something. It ain't that, ain't never going to be that, that's hilarious."
Green had past disputes with teammates, most notably guard Jordan Poole, that caused some to wonder how desirable playing for the Warriors is. Regardless, they are one of the most accomplished organizations of the century.
It seems Thompson's time with Green and the Warriors may be coming to an end, leaving him to act as a veteran leader on a contender like the Orlando Magic.
