The Brooklyn Nets are hitting the reset button, a move long-anticipated and much-needed, as they traded star Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks for a bundle of draft picks.

While the 2024 NBA Draft class lacks generational prospects, the following year's class holds much excitement. Highlighted by Duke's Cooper Flagg, it's hard to imagine the Nets don't at least throw their name in the pot for the athletic forward.

Brooklyn finished as the No. 11 seed in the Eastern Conference last season with Bridges, meaning they'll likely fall down the standings, placing them with some of the best odds to land the No. 1 pick. The class is loaded with talent around Flagg, including Ace Bailey, Dylan Harper, and Khaman Maluach. However, if Flagg meets his expectations with the Blue Devils, he's essentially a lock to go off the board with the top selection.

Duke's roster is loaded with talent for next season, highlighted by Flagg and Maluach, meaning he has all eyes on him as one of the most hyped-up prospects in recent history.
