Will a top NBA prospect make his way to the Celtics one day?

Top NBA prospect and Duke commit Cooper Flagg is a basketball star, setting record after record for high school basketball. Flagg has some serious hardware as well, winning the Gatorade Maine Player of the Year as a sophomore, and Gatorade National Player of the Year as a senior this past season.

While he will be a lottery pick in the 2025 NBA draft, Flagg has expressed interest in the Boston Celtics, as they were his favorite team since he is a New Englander. The Celtics probably will not have a top pick in the draft next year, but Flagg may sign with them one day.

If the Celtics do blow up their team due to the new salary cap rules, they could always use the assets they get to acquire Flagg as well.
