Steve Kerr, the coach of the Golden State Warriors and this Olympics’ Team USA, had a post-game interview with ESPN, and mentioned how he ‘felt like an idiot’ for not playing Boston Celtics’ Jayson Tatum.
“You know, Jayson is going to play, every game is going to be different based on matchups,” said Kerr. “He’s a true pro. He’s, you know, first team All-NBA three years in a row. I felt like an idiot not playing him.”
Kerr followed up with why he didn’t play the Celtics' star. “In a 40 minute game, you can’t really play more than 10, you really can’t.”
Kerr ended the interview saying Tatum will be out there in the next game against South Sudan on July 31st at 3pm EST.
