Jayson Tatum, the superstar forward of the Boston Celtics, did not see a single minute of court time in the Team USA win over Serbia in the Olympics. His teammate from the Celtics and last player to get the Olympic call, Derrick White, played over 15 minutes. His other teammate, Jrue Holiday, started the game and played over 20 minutes.

Unlike most people who sit on the bench the whole game, Tatum is a NBA Champion, and Olympic Gold Medalist from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. So, it's not like Tatum has no experience as a top level player, making it odd he got no playing time.

Most of the time, the entire roster of Team USA will see some court time, but Tatum and Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton did not play this game. Hopefully these two will, as they are some of the best players at their positions.
