Dejounte Murray's latest social media post projects trade to Lakers incoming image

A recent report claims the Los Angeles Lakers may circle back to potentially acquiring star Dejounte Murray, and the Atlanta Hawks guard's social media pattern agrees.

On June 21, 2022, Murray posted to X (formerly Twitter) a set of four eyes emojis. This seemingly cryptic message came just nine days prior to the trade that sent him to the Hawks in exchange for Danilo Gallinari and draft capital. Fast forward roughly two years, and he once again posted the same set of emojis to his account on Friday in a now-deleted tweet.

Murray is under contract until the end of the 2028 season, but a trade is not out of the equation. The Lakers lack young talent, but a heavy amount of draft picks could tempt the Hawks enough to part ways with the former All-Star. Placing Murray alongside the superstar tandem of LeBron James and Anthony Davis would undoubtedly raise their chances of making it out of the loaded Western Conference.
