What channel is the NASCAR race on today? What time does the NASCAR race start? These are the questions that plague race fans every Sunday — or, in this case, Saturday — when each Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race will be on either FOX or FS1 for the first half of the 2019 season with differing start times.

As for Saturday's Digital Ally 400 at Kansas Speedway, the channel that will broadcast the race is FS1, and the start time is 7:30 p.m. ET. The start time for the pre-race show on FS1 is 7 p.m. ET.

The 7:30 p.m. ET start time for Saturday's NASCAR Cup race signals the second night race of the 2019 season. As for the TV channel, the NASCAR Cup Series returns to FS1 for the second week in a row. As part of FOX's TV deal with NASCAR for the 2019 season, FOX was slated to show nine Cup races this year, and FS1 was scheduled to show eight, including the All-Star race.

Saturday's Digital Ally 400 at Kansas Speedway, the 1.5-mile tri-oval that has hosted NASCAR Cup Series races since 2001, is the 12th race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule. Below is all the info you need regarding how to watch the race.

Among the drivers to watch Saturday night at Kansas is Kevin Harvick, who among the top 16 in the current Cup Series standings has the best average finish (9.7) at the 1.5-mile track. Not only is Harvick in a tie (Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon) for the most Cup wins all-time at Kansas Speedway with three, but he won this race last season.

Harvick, who ran well at Dover last week, is still seeking his first win of the 2019 Cup Series season. Keep in mind that his win at Kansas last year was his fifth of the season. This year, Harvick has eight top-10 finishes through the first 11 races. He might be considered the favorite to take the checkered flag this weekend.

Another driver to watch is Harvick's Stewart-Haas Racing teammate, Clint Bowyer, who is a native of Emporia, Kan. Bowyer has never won a Cup Series race at his home-state track, but given his recent success this season — he has recorded top-10 finishes in five of the last six races — this could be the year.

NASCAR Cup Series points leader Kyle Busch, who leading up to this race created a week's worth of headlines with his rules package-related comments after the Dover race, has a chance to set a new record Saturday night. With another top-10 finish, Busch would become the first driver in NASCAR Cup Series history to begin a season with 12 consecutive top-10 finishes. Last week, he tied Morgan Shepherd's record of 11.

"It is good, it is cool," Busch said this week of the record. "It is kind of on our mind right now going into every week. We want to win. That is what we strive to do every time we hit the track. We thought it would come to an end at a place like Talladega and it was close. We were right on the verge, but we made it through another one.

"Hopefully at Kansas we can keep it going, but I would much rather us be up there fighting for the win with our M&M’s Red Nose Day Toyota than to just to finish in the top 10. That’s not what we come to the race track for."
