An uncomfortable part of the 2013 Spring Cup season was the exposure given Danica Patrick. She who won the pole for the Daytona 500 but also struggled during her rookie year.
There was constant debate among NASCAR fans on whether she merited the attention she received as the first female to run a full Cup season.
That attention also brought Patrick into the sights of comedian Jay Mohr, master of ceremonies at Friday's NASCAR awards banquet in Las Vegas.

Patrick was seated near the stage as a candidate for a Sprint fan award, which she won.
"Danica, I hope you are not too uncomfortable tonight — I know you're not used to being this close to the front," Mohr said.
Of course, Mohr didn't let her relationship with boyfriend Ricky Stenhouse Jr. go unmentioned.
"Ricky knows what we all know — sometimes the guy has to step aside and let the woman lead … just ask Kevin Harvick," Mohr said.
