NASCAR drivers may be cautious about looking toward the championship too early, but now they know where the celebrations will be held.

The Sprint Cup Series Awards will return to Las Vegas on Dec. 2 this year. The group first went to Vegas in 2009 after years of feting the champion in New York City.

The Xfinity and Camping World Truck series teams will head to Miami Beach for their celebration.

The Cup drivers will celebrate the season and the champion in a ceremony at the Wynn Las Vegas. That will be the culmination of a week of activities, a full lineup of which will be announced at a later date.

The Xfinity and Camping World awards ceremonies will be held on Nov. 21 at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel in South Beach. The champions in all three series will be crowned the previous weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

“Las Vegas and Miami are unrivaled when it comes to hosting premier events,” said Steve Phelps, NASCAR executive vice president and chief marketing officer. “Both cities were built upon big events and major celebrations, and we’re thrilled to once again honor our NASCAR national series champions along the Vegas strip and on South Beach.”

The Cup awards will air on NBCSN on Dec. 2 at 9 p.m. ET. The Xfinity and Truck awards ceremonies will air on NBCSN on Nov. 27 at 8 p.m. ET.
