Former Martinsville race winner Dale Earnhardt Jr. was off to a rough start in Sunday's Sprint Cup race.
Earnhardt was stuck in the outside lane at Martinsville Speedway when contact with David Ragan caused Junior's left-rear tire to go flat just five laps into the race.

Earnhardt pitted and came back on the track in 40th and down a lap.
He won at the short track in the fall of 2014.
