OK, so there will be plenty more people in the stands at Chicagoland Sunday. It's a beautiful day in Joliet, and it's the last weekend of summer. Maybe people were getting prepared for the mighty Illini game against ever-dangerous Western Michigan.

NASCAR's Sprint Cup series begins its 10-race championship Chase on Sunday. The race, given the sponsor-fueled name Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400, begins about 2:45 p.m. ET. It comes the day after six-time Cup champion Jimmie Johnson's 41st birthday.

Yeah, there's a whole lot of love being shared out there.
