NASCAR was back at Dover and it was Kevin Harvick who took home the AAA 400 Drive for Austism checkered flag on Sunday.
Harvick earned his second career victory in Dover and the 42nd victory overall in his career. This rare Dover win comes in the face of leading 955 laps over 34 career races. As for his season, this has been par for the course for Harvick — who leads the pack with the most wins in 2018.
Daniel Suarez also had a career race. He was in the top 10 nearly all day and had his best career Cup finish. His previous top finish was sixth — done at Dover, Loudon, Charlotte. The remainder of the top-5 was Clint Bowyer (second), Truex Jr. (fourth) and Kurt Busch (fifth).
