The TV channel for a NASCAR race is elusive enough in a normal season when Fox and FS1 trade broadcasts of Cup Series events through the first half of the schedule. The challenges associated with the coronavirus pandemic make the "what channel is today's NASCAR race on" question even more understandable.
Today, because NASCAR's coronavirus-related schedule shake-up changed the TV channel, the first race in a Saturday-Sunday doubleheader at Pocono Raceway will broadcast live on Fox (rather than NBCSN as originally scheduled). Saturday's Pocono Organics 325 will proceed on its originally scheduled date but with a different start time — 3:30 p.m. ET rather than 3 p.m. ET.

Saturday and Sunday's pair of races at Pocono are the 10th and 11th in NASCAR's return on an altered, short-term schedule, and the 14th and 15th Cup Series races overall as NASCAR attempts to keep a 36-race slate intact for 2020. For now, with remaining doubt about how NASCAR can construct its schedule beyond July given differing restrictions on gatherings of people from state to state, the short-term schedule only includes races through Aug. 2.
The pair of races in the Pocono doubleheader this weekend feature different lengths. Saturday's race will go 130 laps, and Sunday's race, which will start at 4 p.m. ET, will go 140 laps.
Below is how to watch Saturday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono, including the TV channel and live stream options.
What channel is NASCAR on today?
- Race: Pocono Organics 325 at Pocono Raceway
- Date: Saturday, June 27
- TV channel: Fox
- Live stream: Fox Sports Go | fuboTV (7-day free trial)
- Radio: MRN
This is a notable change, as the original NASCAR Cup Series schedule for 2020 had NBCSN as the TV channel for both Pocono races on June 27-28. The broadcast network has changed along with NASCAR's schedule shake-up amid COVID-19.
Including this weekend's pair of races at Pocono, Fox and FS1 will broadcast four more Cup Series races. That includes the July 15 All-Star Race before NBC takes over to broadcast its half of the schedule.

As is the case for all the Cup Series races on Fox and FS1 this season, Mike Joy and Jeff Gordon will call Saturday's race at Pocono. They will do so remotely from the Fox studio rather than the booth at the track.
What time does the NASCAR race start today?
- Date: Saturday, June 27
- Start time: 3:30 p.m. ET
The green flag for Saturday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono will wave shortly after 3:30 p.m. ET, about 30 minutes earlier than the start time for Sunday's second leg of the doubleheader.
While the dates for both Pocono races in the Saturday-Sunday doubleheader remain unchanged from NASCAR's original 2020 schedule despite the coronavirus shake-up, the start times are a little later. The pair of races originally were scheduled to start at 3 p.m. ET and 3:30 p.m. ET, respectively, rather than 3:30 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. ET.
Those later start times are notable, because Pocono Raceway does not have lights in the event either race is delayed by weather.
NASCAR live stream for Pocono Saturday race
Anybody who has a cable or satellite subscription can stream Saturday's NASCAR race at Pocono live via Fox Sports Go. This should be the preferred route for a viewer who has such a subscription but isn't able to get in front of his or her TV.
For those who don't have a cable or satellite subscription, there are five OTT TV streaming options that carry Fox — Sling, Hulu, YouTubeTV, fuboTV and AT&T Now. Of the five, Hulu, YouTubeTV and fuboTV offer free trial options.

NASCAR schedule 2020
NASCAR on June 4 released its latest revised Cup Series schedule through July of 2020. It remains committed to running 36 races, four of which were completed before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the sports world. NASCAR hopes to keep its 10 playoff races in the fall intact and at their original tracks.
Below is the schedule revision for the Cup Series, starting with the races at Darlington the Cup Series ran in its return last month:

The Darlington race on May 17 ran instead of the the Chicagoland race that was originally scheduled for June 21. The Darlington race on May 20 ran instead of the postponed Richmond race that was originally scheduled for April 19. The Charlotte race on May 27 ran instead of the Sonoma race that was originally scheduled for June 14.
The Pocono doubleheader remains as previously scheduled for the final weekend of June, with the Cup Series racing on back-to-back days. Those races now will be presented on Fox (and FS1) rather than on NBC. Fox's will close its coverage this season with the All-Star race at Bristol on July 15 before NBC takes over, but NBC will still broadcast the Brickyard 400 on July 5.
The Cup Series races still postponed include events at Dover and Michigan. NASCAR's next challenge will be finding dates for those races while it tries to sort out the rest of the 2020 schedule, but doubleheaders at those tracks in August are possible.
