RFK Racing is on an upturn.
It's been a long time coming for the two-time Cup Series championship winning team. Founded in 1988 by drag racing icon Jack Roush, it's not as if the team has been unfamiliar with success in NASCAR's top series. However, surrounded by motorsport giants like Rick Hendrick, Roger Penske and Tony Stewart, it was easy for the Concord, North Carolina-based entity to slip through the cracks.

Then, Brad Keselowski joined. Keselowski's arrival in 2021 symbolized a revolutionary moment for the company. Here, it had a driver and owner who expected excellence every week. Keselowski is a steady hand on the steering wheel, adept at rumbling through the pack to get to that vaunted clean air time and time again. His commitment to the project lifted spirits. It also lifted levels.
The proof is in the pudding. Chris Buescher is enjoying the best stretch of his career, notching back-to-back wins. Keselowski is all but a certainty to make the playoffs unless something drastic happens. And RFK has slowly but surely established itself as arguably the best-of-the rest among non-Hendrick/Penske/Joe Gibbs Racing sides.
