While NASCAR drivers dread rain on race day, it does have its perks. Especially if you are the kid of a driver.

During Sunday’s rain-delayed broadcast of the Pennsylvania 400 at Pocono Raceway, Keelan Harvick stole the show.

As his dad was being interviewed on TV, Keelan Harvick was invited into the shop but ducked out of site.

When told that he was watching his dad, Kevin Harvick responded that it was actually a puddle that had caught the attention of his 4-year-old son.

"He's not really eyeing us," Harvick told NBCSN. "He's really eyeing that puddle and wondering how much he can get away with in jumping in it."

Boy was he right. Soon, the NBC cameras began panning back to Keelan over and over as he found a child’s delight in the rain.

Even drivers entered the fun, with Tony Stewart seen horsing around with Keelan.

And then there was this.

Nothing like a little relaxing fun during a rain delay.

For Keelan Harvick, that proved to be the highlight of the day.
