Arguably the most difficult part of 24 Hours of Le Mans, a daylong FIA race in France, is managing the well-being of a car performing at such a high level for an entire day. Allowing one to catch fire, therefore, is a major no-no.

Saturday night, about halfway through the race, the No. 66 Ferrari 458 Italia caught fire while its JMW Motorsports crew refueled it during a pitstop. It was quickly extinguished and no one was injured.

According to caranddriver.com, a standard Ferrari 458 Italia retails for just under $250,000. If you do own a quarter-million dollar car like this, try to avoid setting it on fire. Car buffs will thank you.

Here's a full video of the aftermath and cleanup.
