NASCAR's Super Bowl is here.
The green flag is set to drop on the 2024 Daytona 500, marking the official start of the season. Sorry Denny Hamlin, the Clash at the Coliseum doesn't count.
Defending Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney finished third at the Clash and is looking to become the first driver to win back-to-back titles since Jimmie Johnson won five in a row from 2006 to 2010. Meanwhile, defending Daytona 500 champ Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will attempt to join Denny Hamlin, Sterling Marlin, Cale Yarborough and Richard Petty as repeat winners of NASCAR's biggest race.
All of the action started on Wednesday with single-car qualifying, with the two fastest drivers securing front-row starting positions. Joey Logano starts on the pole and is joined in the front row by Michael McDowell. Both Anthony Alfredo (39th) and David Ragan (40th) also secured positions in the field as the fastest Open team drivers.
The remaining 36 drivers will be determined by Thursday's twin 60-lap duels and slotted accordingly in Sunday's starting grid. To make following the Daytona 500 easier, we've created a handy and printable starting grid that you can fill in as drivers secure their spots.
