Boogity boogity boogity, let's go racing. The 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season gets underway Sunday from the familiar sights of the Daytona International Speedway for the 2022 Daytona 500.
Last season, Michael McDowell took the checkered flag in Daytona, the first win (and last win) of his Cup Series career: McDowell, a long-time NASCAR vet, stunned the field and took home the win.
The rest of the season would belong to Kyle Larson, who put together a dominant stretch, winning 10 races en route to his first NASCAR Cup Series championship.

Now, Larson gets a chance to defend his crown starting Sunday. Here's how to watch:
What channel is the Daytona 500 on today?

Fox will play host to the Daytona 500, as it has done every year since 2006.
As is the case with most NASCAR races, the Fox family of networks will broadcast the Daytona 500, while some races will move to FS1 later in the season.
Mike Joy will be on the lap-by-lap call, and he'll be flanked by Clint Bowyer and Tony Stewart. Stewart replaces Jeff Gordon, who left the Fox booth to join Hendrick Motorsports.
