Danica Patrick joined the list of late crashers in the Daytona 500 when she tried to hold off Greg Biffle and both cars ended up making contact.
Biffle was having a rough day in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race after having an earlier tire failure. But he had a run on Patrick and tried to move to the inside of her car. As her car swung low and back into his path, Biffle's car hit it and both cars spun.

Patrick went sailing across the grass while Biffle's car slammed into the outside wall with 17 laps remaining in the season-opening Sprint Cup race.
"I don’t know if she was trying to block me or didn’t know I was there but it happens," Biffle said.
Patrick had reportedly already been irate with her crew following a pit stop with 43 laps to go when she lost position after being penalized for the crew going over the wall too soon.
“That pit road penalty really put us in a bad spot at the end of the race,” Patrick said. “I didn’t realize Greg was below me and I tried going low and we made contact. It’s a disappointing way to end the day, but overall, I’m happy with the way my team performed throughout Speedweeks.”
