Chase Elliott 'one finger salute' T-shirts are already being sold image

Chase Elliott's reaction to getting spun out by Kyle Busch in the closing laps of Wednesday night's rain-shortened Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway was a win for both NASCAR and capitalism. Thanks to the folks at BreakingT, the image of Elliott flipping the bird at Busch in the wake of the accident is already on a T-shirt.

Elliott was running second with 28 laps to go Wednesday when Busch, as explained by the latter, "misjudged" the gap between Elliott and fourth-place Kevin Harvick. Busch accidentally clipped Elliott's left rear bumper and sent him crashing into the inside wall.

The caution came out, and a few minutes later, rain began falling at Darlington. The race was called with 20 laps to go, and Denny Hamlin was credited with the win.

"Misjudged it, made a mistake and clipped the 9 there and spun him into the wall," Busch said. "I hate it for him and his guys. I've got too many friends over there on that team to do anything like that on purpose. I've raced Chase since he was a kid and never had any issues with him whatsoever."

BreakingT's new shirt even features "Ohhhh Boy," which were the words of Fox NASCAR TV analyst Jeff Gordon when he watched Elliott's middle finger follow Busch's No. 18 Toyota as it passed under caution.

The T-shirts are being sold for $28 each.
