It's that time of year again, as the Indy 500 will take center stage during a busy sports weekend in Indianapolis during Memorial Day weekend. But, before one of America's most well-known annual traditions gets underway, the drivers who will participate must first qualify.
The qualifying rounds take place on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19. The 33-car field will be finalized as the tradition enters its 108th edition.
Indy 500 qualifying schedule 2024
Full-field qualifying on Saturday and last chance practice on Sunday will be shown exclusively on Peacock. The last chance and Final Six qualifying sessions will silmulcast on NBC and Peacock, and that session can be streamed live on Fubo.

What channel is Indy 500 qualifying on?

While NBC will broadcast the final three hours of Indy 500 qualifying Sunday, the majority of time trials can be viewed exclusively on Peacock.
Sunday's three-hour final portion of top 12 qualifying for the Indy 500 can be streamed live on Fubo, which offers a free trial. That session begins at 3 p.m. ET.

The 2024 Indy 500 is scheduled for Sunday, May 26.
Pre-race festivities will begin at 11 a.m. ET and continue until 12:30 p.m., when the race will take the green flag.
