Who is singing the national anthem at the Indy 500?

Jordin Sparks will get the honor of singing the national anthem at the 108th annual Indy 500.

Sparks is a familiar name at the Indy 500 because she sang the national anthem at the 2015 edition of the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing." She doesn't have any other Indiana ties, however.

The Grammy-nominated artist kickstarted her music career after winning American Idol in 2007.
