What a thrilling day in the Alps. Vincenzo Nibali attacked while Froome was fixing a mechanical error, allowing him to gain some time on the yellow jersey and the other podium contenders. Nibali passed Pierre Rolland, the leader at the time, with 16 kilometers to go, clearing his path for a stage victory.
Meanwhile, Nairo Quintana made a move of his own and Froome, Alberto Contador and Alejandro Valverde attempted to chase him down. Froome couldn't catch Quintana and ended up losing 30 seconds to him.

What is the route for Stage 20?
Stage 20 is the penultimate stage in this year's tour, the last day of "real" racing for the general classification contenders. It's also the day of one of the toughest climbs in the Tour, the Alpe d'Huez. Midway through the stage, riders will go back up the Col de la Croix de Fer before summiting the Alpe d'Huez at the finish.
