Tour de France leader Chris Froome extended his advantage to almost three minutes with a superb Stage 10 triumph Tuesday.

The Team Sky man came into Tuesday's 167-kilometer stage between Tarbes and La Pierre-Saint-Martin with a 12-second lead over his nearest rival, BMC Racing's Tejay Van Garderen.

On Monday's rest day, Sky general manager Dave Brailsford claimed those accusing the 2013 champion Froome of cheating had hacked into the team's computer data, as rumblings of foul play continue to tarnish the sport.

However, the yellow jersey-holder showed no signs of distraction as he stormed to victory and put clear daylight between himself and his rivals.

It was hard-earned for Froome, who prevailed at the end of a gruelling mountain finish which saw the likes of Alberto Contador dropped off.

And it was a Team Sky one-two, as Richie Porte overtook Nairo Quintana in the final kilometer to ensure he will wear the polka-dot jersey on Stage 11.

Movistar's Quintana crossed the line 1:04 behind Froome, while Van Garderen finished 2:30 back in 10th, and is now 2:52 behind the leader overall.
