She has been dominant in her sport this year, defeating Bethe Correia and Cat Zingano in 14 seconds and 34 seconds, respectively. She is arguably the most dominant woman in sports and an icon. And she is branching out into movies.
The 40 under 40 list gathers "the most influential young people in business," according to the website. The name of the list is pretty self-explanatory, 40 people under the age of 40 who have made an impact in business. For more on the list you can read Fortune's description .
Others on the list with sports ties include Jason Robins, the CEO of DraftKings; and Melanie Wheelan, CEO of SoulCycle, an indoor fitness operation.
Rousey is in Australia preparing for new next title fight, against Holly Holm in UFC 193. As UFC women's bantamweight champion, she is doing promotional visits that included mugging with members of an Australian Rules Football club. That bout is scheduled for Nov. 14 in Melbourne.
