Novak Djokovic has set his sights on overtaking Roger Federer's record haul of 17 Grand Slams after claiming his sixth Australian Open title.
The world's top-ranked player matched Roy Emerson's record number of Australian Open wins — achieved in tennis' amateur era — when he beat Andy Murray in straight sets at Melbourne Park on Sunday.

The Serbian has now won four of the last five Grand Slams, taking his overall tally to 11, and is the unquestionable dominant figure in the men's game having reached the final of every tournament he has played in the last 12 months.
Asked if he was now targeting Federer's mark of 17, Djokovic told reporters: "I need to be honest and say that it is in the back of my mind and it serves as an encouraging factor, a goal, a motivation, an incentive for the challenges and for the next period in my career.
"Obviously, being 28 and being at the peak of my abilities I feel like I can achieve much more."
A day removed from his latest triumph, Djokovic remained in predictably high spirits.
"It feels today as great as it did yesterday," he said. "After 2008, it was the first Grand Slam win, and now six titles later and, you know, eight years later it's truly incredible to see all the years that went by and how good I play in Australia each year.
"This serves as a great confidence-booster, great wind in the back for the rest of the season."
