Reigning Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic will return to Court One on Tuesday with his pulsating fourth-round clash against Kevin Anderson locked at two sets apiece.

The big-serving South African played with fearless agression throughout the opening two sets, both of which he claimed on tiebreaks to place a huge upset firmly on the cards.

But Djokovic, who last failed to make a Grand Slam quarterfinal at Roland Garros in 2009, approached his indefatigable self in rattling off sets three and four in little more than an hour to leave the match poised at 6-7, 6-7, 6-1, 6-4 as the light closed in at 9 p.m. local time.

The two will resume play Tuesday at 1 p.m. local time, or 8 a.m. ET.
