Chad Mendes and Frankie Edgar will likely headline the "The Ultimate Fighter” season 22 finale in Las Vegas on Dec. 11, Fox Sports reported, citing sources.
The discussion between the two featherweights' camps have been going on for several days and they have now finally reached a verbal agreement.
Edgar (19-4-1) has won four consecutive fights, recently defeating Mendes teammate Urijah Faber. Mendes (17-3) has lost only to Jose Aldo and Connor McGregor in his UFC career.
