Floyd Mayweather Jr. continued his war of words with Ronda Rousey on Friday.

In a video released by Fight Hub TV, Mayweather seemed to act like he didn't know who Rousey was despite the two exchanging verbal blows for more than a year.

“I don’t really know too much about Ronda Rousey,” Mayweather said during a media session to promote his upcoming fight against Andre Berto. “Whoever, you know, she is … I wish her nothing but the best. Good luck with everything."

This statement in and of itself isn't all that bad, but when you take a look at the history between Mayweather and Rousey, it's pretty revealing. It's hard to imagine Mayweather doesn't know who she is, especially when he has talked smack toward her.

Here's a brief timeline:

March 2014: Rousey claims she can beat Mayweather in an MMA fight.

July 2014: Mayweather claims he doesn't know who "he" (referring to Rousey) is.

May 2015: Rousey said she wouldn't fight Mayweather unless they started dating.

July 2015: Rousey beats Mayweather for Best Fighter at the ESPYs and says, "I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once."

August 2015: Mayweather was asked about facing Rousey in the ring and said, "Are you a comedian? You a comedian?" He also apologized for calling her a man a year earlier. "They asked me about Ronda and I thought it was a guy. I didn't know it was a female. I apologize. I wish her all the best."

The fact that these two have been jawing through media outlets more than a year should be enough proof that Mayweather knows who Rousey is. The MMA fighter pointed out even more reasons why when she explained her ESPYs comment.

“I know for damn sure he knew who I was,” Rousey said regarding Mayweather's comments in July 2014. “He was running against me for ‘Best Fighter’ that year and he had signed MMA fighters, so his feigned ignorance was meant to really be a snarky remark to me."

Expect Mayweather's latest comment to make its way around to Rousey again.
