Donna Vekic, the woman in question in tasteless comments by tennis player Nick Kyrgios, isn't happy.
News this week that Kyrgios could be let off the most severe punishment for his crass statements has Vekic peeved. ATP, the governing body for men's tennis, had slapped Kyrgios with $12,500 in fines for the incident in a tournament at Montreal.

Kyrgios' punishment was increased to $25,000 and a conditional 28-day suspension. But, the ATP decided it will rescind the fine and suspension if Kyrgios, of Australia, behaves.
To which Vekic, according to reports, is upset.
Let's retrack: During a match against Stan Wawrinka in Montreal, Kyrgios was heard telling Wawrinka that Vekic, his current girlfriend, had sex with another Australian player before she and Wawrinka got together.
There was a second similar reference to Vekic's sexual activities, this time with Wawrinka.
An ATP investigation cited Kyrgios for "aggravated behavior" before increasing his penalties.
It's the possibilities of Kyrgios being absolved that has Vekic upset. In a Wednesday qualifying match for the U.S. Open tennis tournament, she was described by News.com.au as being "an emotional wreck." Vekic was in tears during one changeover and snippy over line calls.
Vekic, 20, had been dating Australia's Thanasi Kokkinakis. After Wawrinka and his wife split, Wawrinka became an item with Vekic, who is more than 10 years his junior.
Kyrgios, viewed as the reigning "bad boy" of tennis, has a history of on-court outbursts. The Montreal incident was his most offensive and personal, going beyond yelling and smashing racquets.
"He didn't get suspended,'' Vekic told the New York Post. "It's ridiculous. No more comment on this.''
She blamed her tears on the humidity at Flushing Meadows.
As the Kyrgios controversy swirled, Vekic was stung by his comments and the resulting attention. "It's not easy, but I'm trying to focus on tennis and my next match,'' she said in Vancouver when interviewed by The Province.
Vekic is from Croatia and is 129th in world tennis rankings. The U.S. Open starts Aug. 31. Vekic will play only if she survives qualifying.
Wawrinka and Kyrgios will be in the field because they are highly ranked players.
