Will Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr. ever stop talking about fighting each other?
Probably not. At least not until they actually fight each other, which by most accounts is not a practical idea. So, in the meantime, we're resigned to trash-talk tweets in perpetuity like McGregor's most recent jab at Mayweather on Saturday morning.

We're sure it's just McGregor's way of saying, "Happy holidays."
Of course, rumors of a super fight have gained steam in recent months as McGregor grows bored of UFC and Mayweather is sometimes retired, sometimes not. In the only development of substance yet, McGregor last month applied for and was granted a boxing license in California. Otherwise there's little else to suggest this will extend anyplace beyond Internet bravado.
Keep dreaming.
