Former Australian rugby league star Ben Ross suffered a broken arm while arm wrestling another former player, Wendell Sailor, on live television.
Ross was arm wrestling on Channel 9's "The NRL Footy Show," when he clutched his right arm in agony after it appeared to snap give way.

Sailor was left shocked by the incident and later took to Twitter to offer his apologies, writing: "Just like to send some love/well wishes out to Ben Ross and his family after the accident on NRL Footy Show - sorry Big Ben feel so bad."
The show also posted an update on Twitter, saying an X-ray confirmed Ross had broken his humerus.

During his playing career, Ross was a part of the Penrith Panthers team that won the 2003 NRL Grand Final.
