October 21, 2015 is the day that Marty McFly traveled to in Back to the Future II. While it won't coincide with a celebration of the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series, it's also now the same day that the DeLorean featured in the classic movie trilogy was added as downloadable content to the brilliant video game Rocket League.

Available now for $2, the officially licensed "Back to the Future Car Pack" includes the DeLorean time machine with its custom wheels and trail.

Developer Psyonix has been busy lately having introduced other DLC, free Halloween-themed item drops, and a patch all within the last few weeks. Rocket League has become a sensation, and that's not limited to those with the game who play regularly, as it also extends to a growing presence in the world of eSports.

Rocket League is not just a phenomenal mashup of car racing with soccer, but it's likely to be considered among the best all-around games this year given its widespread appeal. The game is no longer free, but is well worth the $20 price whether on PlayStation 4 or PC.
