Australian Open 2014: Dominika Cibulkova, Li Na meet in women's final image

The net posts on Rod Laver Arena are two-thirds the height of Australian Open women's finalist Dominika Cibulkova.

But height has no bearing on form or fight, and the 5-3 Slovakian is showing plenty of both in the tournament so far.

"It's not about how tall you are. It's just you have to really want something and just believe in it," said Cibulkova, 24, whose amazing run to her first Grand Slam final pits her against two-time Australian Open finalist Li Na.

Li, fourth seed, lost to Kim Clijsters and Victoria Azarenka in previous finals after being one set up at Melbourne Park.

She goes into her third final as the warmest of favorites on Saturday, though Cibulkova's wins over Maria Sharapova, Simona Halep and Agnieszka Radwanska give her the strongest of form lines.

Li, 31, has also been in great touch at Melbourne Park, despite having to face match point against her in the third round against Lucie Safarova.

Otherwise, straight sets win have been the norm — the semifinal win over Canadian Eugenie Bouchard as routine as a fourth round win over Russian Ekaterina Makarova was brutal.

Cibulkova is wary, but not overawed, by her rival's Grand Slam experience.

"You know she has been in the finals of Grand Slams so many times, but I'm playing finals, so it's like a dream," Cibulkova said.

"So I will go out there and play my best — try to do my best."
