A combination of Andy Murray's tenacity and wild weather in Paris stopped Novak Djokovic in Friday's bid to reach the French Open final.
World No. 1 Djokovic is trying to complete a career grand slam and looked set to make light work of his semifinal at Roland Garros as he won first two sets against Murray 6-3, 6-3.

However, Murray — who has lost his past seven matches against Djokovic — responded to win the third set 7-5. The match was 3-3 in the fourth set when play was halted for the day because of an incoming storm.
Play will resume at 7 a.m. ET Saturday. The women's singles championship match between Serena Williams and Lucie Safarova follows the Djokovic-Murray finale.
Stan Wawrinka awaits the Murray-Djokovic winner. Wawrinka, of Switzerland, beat France's Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the day's first semi.
The suspension of play was a disappointment to the spectators on Court Philippe Chatrier, who were witnessing an increasingly epic encounter as both men sought to maintain their long unbeaten records on clay.
Djokovic headed into the second grand slam of the year on the back of four tournament victories in a row.
