The UFC looks to go all out as it celebrates its history at UFC 300 on April 13. An event featuring former and current champions, as well as the future of MMA, emanates from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The UFC started in 1993 with a few trials and tribulations. It took a while for the company to become the international powerhouse in combat sports. The company has evolved since the old days of Frank Mir, the Gracie family, and Chuck Liddell. UFC 100 in 2009 had Brock Lesnar, Dan Henderson, Jon Jones, and Marc Coleman. UFC 200 had Amanda Nunes, Daniel Cormier, Jose Aldo, and Cain Velasquez.

Both events featured record-high gates. UFC 300 looks to blow those events out of the water. The main event of UFC 300 will be Alex Pereira vs. Jamahal Hill for the UFC light heavyweight title. The co-main event will have Zhang Weili defending the UFC strawweight title against Yan Xionan, while Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway determine the BMF Champion.

UFC 300 has fan favorites in Charles Oliveira, Kayla Harrison, and Aljamain Sterling. As a bonus, Jim Miller will be the only fighter to have competed at UFC 100, 200, and 300. UFC 300 is a card UFC CEO Dana White is proud of and expects to be in the history books.

"So, when you look at 300 right, we have 12 current and former UFC champions or interim champions, seven pound-for-pound [ranked] fighters, almost every single fight features a ranked contender, 16 ranked fighters in total. And it’s expected to break every record at the T-Mobile Arena with a $15 million gate," White told TNT Sports via Forbes. "So, UFC 300 is the greatest combat sports card ever assembled.

"I mean if you go back throughout history, even boxing. Look at a boxing card that has ever been done, even in the Don King days, when he was stacking these cards full. The first prelim of the night is [Deiveson] Figueiredo and Cody Garbrandt, then it’s just all the way up to the main event."
