UFC 286: Leon Edwards vs. Kamaru Usman 3 weigh-in results with updated weight, reach, height of main event fighters image

When Leon Edwards lost to Kamaru Usman in 2015, "Rocky" adapted, going on a seven-year unbeaten streak. He beat Usman in the rematch in August 2022 and won the UFC welterweight title.

How will Usman do against Edwards a few months removed from their second bout?

Edwards defends the UFC welterweight title against Usman at UFC 286 on March 18 in Edwards’ backyard in London. It will be Usman’s first time competing in London as a pro and the first time he has been looking for a rebound win since 2013. Usman had 19 straight wins before the Edwards rematch.

Usman was winning their bout at UFC 278 until a surprise head kick in the last minute of the fifth round took him down. Edwards believes Usman, who has been quiet heading into fight week, is a different man following the loss.

“For him, the fight was going his way,” Edwards told BT Sport via MMA Junkie. “What does he change? The way he fought me last is the way he fights. I can’t see him, in the space of five, six months, being a totally different fighter. I just can’t see it happening.

"A knockout affects everyone different. He’s 35, 36 years old, coming off a knockout, and fighting the same guy who’s just knocked him out. Let's see how he comes back and how he reacts.”

The O2 Arena will be the place to be, as Edwards is one of many U.K.-based fighters to compete on the card.

The Sporting News will provide weigh-in results for UFC 286. Follow along as each fighter on the card attempts to make weight.
