Donald Cerrone has looked much more comfortable since he made the move to welterweight at the beginning of 2016.
He had won his first two fights, but had his toughest test to date in facing Rick Story. Cerrone passed with flying colors Saturday, defeating Story by TKO at 2:02 of the second round at UFC 202. As for what he wants to do next at 170 pounds, Cerrone flipped the script and called out the lightweight champion for UFC 205.

"I think I gotta go do the 155, Eddie Alvarez fight," Cerrone told Joe Rogan in his post-fight interview. "Let’s go, MSG. Me and him. How about that?"
The fight began with both fighters going right at each other. Cerrone scored a takedown, but couldn't do too much with it as Story got back up to his feet. Story grinded Cerrone against the cage and then got a takedown of his own. Cerrone tried for an omoplata, but couldn't get the proper grip. Story and Cerrone exchanged hard kicks. Cerrone came back with combinations of his own, but Story connected on a couple of kicks to end the opening round.
Cerrone began the second round by stuffing a takedown, connecting on a knee and a combination. Cerrone started to find a home on the feet with his speed and punches. He was able to get in and get out.
Cerrone connected on a three-punch combination and a head kick that sent Story crumbling. Cerrone sensed the end was near, came at Story, landed a couple of punches, and referee Herb Dean put a halt to the action.
