The feature that may have the biggest impact on gameplay in the upcoming EA Sports UFC 2 is the new "Knockout Physics System". At the very least, it's going to create visceral moments when playing, and sharable ones at that which will make the video game appear thrilling.
According to the product description the new physics-driven hit reaction system will make every knockout will feel different from the last. Fighters will fall in response to their momentum and the blow they receive, making each knockout feel responsive and rewarding.

Not only will the physics result in memorable payoffs from fights, but a brand new mode has been introduced for the sequel to capitalize on it. KO Mode removes grappling from the equation leaving fighters to slug it out until knockout is achieved.
With EA Sports UFC 2 already available with a 10 hour trial to EA Access members on Xbox One, I spent time with KO Mode and put together a montage of the most vicious knockouts seen thus far. Needless to say they are nothing short of impressive.
New features in EA Sports UFC 2 include Ultimate Team, Knockout Mode, Custom Event Creator, Knockout Physics System, Skill Challenges, and Practice Mode. Mike Tyson is one of three fighters that come with pre-ordering. Amazon Prime members can pre-order the game at discount: $48 for the standard version or $56 for the Dexlue Edition which comes with bonus Ultimate Team content. EA Sports UFC 2 releases on March 15 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
