Jon Jones doesn't like what the UFC is offering him to go up to heavyweight to fight Francis Ngannou, so now he's negotiating through Twitter.

Jones tweeted Thursday night that he might just stay away from the Octagon for a while if the money doesn't improve.

He also played the "They need me more than I need them" card:

SN HONOR: Jones is MMA Man of the Decade

For what it's worth, Ngannou isn't thrilled with the terms, either.

Jones' last fight was in February at UFC 247, when he beat Dominick Reyes via disputed unanimous decision. Jones' effort didn't impress middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, who said the 32-year-old light heavyweight legend (26-1, one no-contest) looked "washed up."

Ngannou, 33, is coming off a 20-second knockout of Jairzinho Rozenstruik at UFC 249 on May 9.
