During a hearing on Tuesday, the Nevada State Athletic Commission announced they are temporarily suspending Brock Lesnar after he failed a pre-fight on June 28 and post-fight drug test for his fight at UFC 200 on July 9.
The former UFC heavyweight champion tested positive for clomiphene and hydroxy-clomiphene, which is a metabolite of chomiphene. Clomiphene is an anti-estrogen masking agent which is typically used after a cycle of steroids to prevent many of the side effects that come along with the performance-enhancing drug.
Lesnar had returned after a four-and-half year hiatus to defeat Mark Hunt by unanimous decision.
The current WWE star faces punishment not only from the United States Anti-Doping Agency, which administered the tests, but also the state of Nevada since that is where the fight took place.

Lesnar's attorney Brian Stegeman has been contacted by the state and will work with them to set a date for the hearing where they will be able to present a defense. A date hasn't been announced as to when Nevada will have Lesnar appear on the matter.
Lesnar appeared at Sunday's WWE Summerslam when he defeated Randy Orton by TKO after he landed several sharp elbows and punches to leave Orton bloody.
It is unknown when Lesnar will next appear in WWE as it looks like his MMA career could be over.
