Brock Lesnar earned a record $2.5 million in base pay for his UFC 200 victory against Mark Hunt, MMA Fighting reported.
That's more than double Conor McGregor's previous record purse of $1 million at UFC 196 for a loss to Nate Diaz.

MMA Fighting cited records obtained from the Nevada Athletic Commission for payouts from last weekend's card in Las Vegas co-headlined by Lesnar-Hunt.
Miesha Tate ($500,000) and Amanda Nunes ($100,000) fought in the other co-main event.
The report noted that salary totals don't include other possible revenue factors such as sponsorships, PPV bonuses and fight bonuses.
The record total was released on the same day UFC was sold for $4 billion to WME-IMG.
