The New York Red Bulls sure know how to crash a party.

Up 1-0 on Yamil Asad's 25th-minute opener and creating plenty of chances to up the advantage, MLS expansion side Atlanta United had the Red Bulls on the ropes Sunday at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
But after an Alec Kann error gifted the Red Bulls a corner, Daniel Royer rose to nod home Sacha Kljestan's 76th-minute set piece.

Six minutes later, Kemar Lawrence played a ball toward Bradley Wright-Phillips that deflected in to stun the 55,297 in attendance for Atlanta's MLS debut, putting New York on its way to the 2-1 win.
The strike eventually was ruled an own goal on on-loan Tottenham prospect Anton Walkes, who had come on for injured defender Leandro Gonzalez Pirez moments earlier.

And the frustration boiled over for Atlanta late when midfielder Carlos Carmona earned the first red card in club history for a sly stomp on Red Bulls veteran Felipe.
