Two of Major League Soccer's best teams this season face off in sunny South Florida for a highly-anticipated mid-week battle.

Inter Miami hosts the Columbus Crew on Wednesday, June 19 at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., with both teams missing players due to the international break. Inter Miami's list is certainly longer and more top-heavy, with Matias Rojas, Luis Suarez, and of course, Lionel Messi all preparing for Copa America with their respective national teams.

Columbus will be without forward Jacen Russell-Rowe, who is in Canada's 26-man Copa America roster.

Both Inter Miami and the Crew went on the road in their last matches and came away victorious. The Crew traveled to New York City FC and came back from a one-goal deficit to win, 3-2, while Inter Miami's Leo Alfonso scored in second half stoppage time to give his side a crucial road win in Philadelphia.

Inter Miami needs a win to stay two-points or more clear of FC Cincinnati at the top of the Eastern Conference, while the Crew can move into the top four in the conference with a win.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch it across the world, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Inter Miami vs. Columbus Crew lineups, team news

Inter Miami picked up a huge win at the Philadelphia Union, but it may have cost them extra in exchange for the three points. Starting midfielder David Ruiz and starting centerback Tomas Aviles are both out for this match thanks to their red card dismissals against the Union, leaving an already shorthanded team even more. Look for one of Ryan Sailor or Noah Allen to step into the backline, while Yannick Bright could deputize in midfield for this match.

Inter Miami projected starting lineup (4-3-3): Callender (GK) — Weigandt, Aviles, Kryvtsov, Alba — Gressel, Busquets, Bright — Taylor, Campana, Cremaschi.

The Columbus Crew made a deal this week to strengthen their squad, beginning early next month. The Crew traded $325,000 in guaranteed general allocation money (GAM) for St. Louis City attacking midfielder Aziel Jackson, which will give Columbus added depth in a position of need. In the meantime, the Crew will continue to rely on Christian Ramirez, who scored in the Crew's 3-2 win at New York City FC.

Columbus Crew projected starting lineup (3-4-3): Schulte (GK) — Amundsen, Moreira, Cheberko — Sands, Morris, Jones, Yeboah — Ramirez, Hernandez, Rossi.

Inter Miami vs. Columbus Crew prediction

Inter Miami will be missing upwards of five starters due to red card suspension and international absences, and you can make it six if you consider Federico Redondo is out again with an injury. While the club was valiant in its win on the road at Philadelphia, will Inter Miami have enough left in the tank in a mid-week game to win? Or will last year's MLS Cup champions have what it takes to leave South Florida with three points?

Prediction: Columbus Crew 2-1 Inter Miami
