The Panama international followed up his clever chip in a Week 1 win over the Montreal Impact with another golazo Saturday, firing home a late winner from long range in the San Jose Earthquakes' 3-2 victory against the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Erik Hurtado and Nicolas Mezquida had given Vancouver an early two-goal lead, but Whitecaps goalkeeper David Ousted was sent off in the 23rd minute for denial of an obvious goal-scoring opportunity.
Chris Wondolowski promptly halved the deficit and rookie Nick Lima tied the match with his first MLS goal in the 54th minute, setting the stage of Godoy's 79th-minute heroics.
